about

This track is very Pogues-esque, and that's what I wanted to do - write a new song that taps into that feel that maybe gets people up on their feet dancing. We also wanted to give a wee nod to some of the newer players that we've had, as well as some of the greats down through the years because that's Celtic - our history, what's happening now but also looking to the future.

lyrics

Everything changes I guess that's true to say
But there's one thing that I know will always stay the same
Seasons come and seasons go and Celtic are still my team
For the past, the present and the future

We have seen the glory days yet more is yet to come
From '67 to Seville to Hamden in the sun
We've seen it all before and we'll see it all again
In the past the present and the future

Ceasar and Lennox and Kenny Dalglish
Johnston and Larsson and the big man Jock Stein
Sutton and Hartson and Nakamura
Celtic past, present and the future

There's some things you can't forget we'll never let them go
Like beating Rangers 7-1 and doing 9 in a row
We have seen the glory days and the best is yet to come
From the past, the present and the future

Ceasar and Lennox and Kenny Dalglish
Johnston and Larsson and the big man Jock Stein
Sutton and Hartson and Nakamura
Celtic past, present and the future
